Ogden Soccer program, serving the greater Ogden area, needs your help
Ogden Soccer is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 to promote a local sustainable youth development programs in the Ogden and greater area. By utilizing the game of soccer 1000’s of children of all ethnic and socioeconomic background are brought together to build community. Ogden Soccer will set the standard for providing youth development programs taught by the best trained coaches. With your help Ogden Soccer will bring the community together providing youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on our four philosophies:
- Player Centered® - Our programs are open to all children ages 3 - 18 who want to register and play soccer. Interest and enthusiasm are the only requirements for playing. Our goal is for kids to develop a love for the game utilizing our player centered development models.
- Trained Coaches – Using the US Soccer Grassroots Player Development Framework. We require every coach to be licensed and following our coaching philosophies. Development over winning is the highest priority and all coaches demonstrate the ability to inspire and guide.
- Positive Environment – Working with coaches and parents we set the standard. Ogden Soccer builds positive environment for the youth to develop. Using the catch them being good philosophy our youth our built up to help them and their teammates develop to their best of their abilities. Our community is a large soccer family.
- Community Focused Ogden Soccer believes in giving where you live. Our volunteers are the most dedicated people that continually give selflessly. To help them we want to grow community based relationships with other organizations, businesses, cities and schools knowing that our youth are your youth and together we can all make a positive impact for generations to come. We are many and together one.
Ogden Soccer provides children with the opportunity to learn the game of soccer while promoting physical fitness, teamwork, self-esteem, and good sportsmanship. This experience has had a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children who have chosen to participate. In the greater Ogden area, there are nearly 26,000 youth soccer players taking part in the positive game of soccer. Coaches, referees, and board members of Ogden Soccer are all unpaid volunteers, unfortunately player registration fees do not cover all expenses and we need community partnership. To keep the fees as low as possible so that all kids can afford to play we rely on sponsors to help bring smile to our community on soccer Saturday throughout the year.
As an Ogden Soccer sponsor, you will be helping us provide quality soccer programs to kids in the community. Your contribution will help allow all kids to be part of the community by reducing the cost of uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, coach and referee training, and safe experience for every player. You can also take a tax deduction on our contribution to the extent of the advised by your accountant. But, you get more out of your sponsorship than just a tax deduction: Your company will be recognized as a community leader through the involvement in Ogden Soccer; your company will receive excellent publicity from Ogden Soccer activities and reap the good will that accompanies it; and, most importantly, your company will be helping kids grow in body and character, while they’re having a good time playing the most popular sport in the world.
